About me
My paintings speak for themselves better than anything I could say, anyway:
Themes. I paint things that make me feel strong emotions. I have always been fascinated by nature, cities, human traits and fantasy.
Vision. I treat those themes through the study of light, color, perspective and composition.
Influencers. Kandinsky, whose colors and forms become expressive with a guiding inner regularity; defining the structure I appreciate.
The light of Sorolla and Vincent van Gogh dissolves reality into picture, taking natural objects to "life" by means of colors in an intense light.
Picasso, Matisse and fauvism for his bold colorfulness.
Sonia and Robert Delaunay. I am struck by the way they combine color and planes, how they synthesize helped me develop my project.
To end, Joan Miro's work fascinates me.
