Alberto García-Alix, definitive photographer from the 80´s Madrid creative scene to focus on misfits

Today we suggest a way back to photography and, in concrete, photography in black and white to valorate slowly the over time effect and the empty gazes. Today we fly back, with Alberto García-Alix, to the joyful “Movida madrileña”, the artistic scene of Madrid in the early 80´s, just on the first days of Spanish democracy, a full blust of creativity and freedom. García-Alix’s expressive strength lasts in silence, humbly, like those who know the place “where nobody come back from”.

Our music pill/suggestion for García-Alix and a walk on our blog

(Let there be music)

Enjoy his way of seeing things over their appearance and their scenic irreverence. García-Alix is one of the names in counterculture panorama in the Spanish early 80´s who have konwn how to survive through three decades thanks to the density of their works. No buzz and no artifice. Gracias, Alberto.
