The brilliantly grey photography by Tommy Ingberg

Let´s get back to the basics, to the beauty of black and white and the apparently grey men dressed in their apparently grey suits and silently watching life go by under their classic hats. Let´s get back to The Maltese Falcon , the story, the movie, the restaurant in San Francisco and the good old times.

Let´s do it just by watching photographs by the the Swedish photographer Tommy Ingberg , that´s all it takes.

Tommy Ingberg won the Lumen Prize 2012 with the image called “Torn”.

The Lumen Prize Exhibition is the first global prize for digital fine art. The goal is to focus the world’s attention on this exciting, emerging genre of fine art through a curated competition that will find the very best examples of digitally-created art and then take this work on a global tour in 2013.

The Lumen Prize Exhibition – comprising the Lumen Prize winners, the Exhibition 50 and the Peoples Choice winner, will start travelling the world in January 2013. Work will be displayed on large-scale screens and projectors.
